Rhinoplasty is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. Aesthetic rhinoplasty (from Greek “rhinos” – nose) can alter the shape and/or size of the external nose, change the angle between the nose and the upper lip or the shape of the nostrils. The goal of the surgery is not only to change the nose shape, but also to improve the patient’s appearance as a whole.

Revision rhinoplasty is a highly specialized practice in rhinoplasty surgery. In these operations, the problems that arise as a result of previous nose surgery are corrected and the size, width, profile, tip and nasal asymmetry obtained in previous surgeries are addressed by itself.

Ultrasonic technologies are now used in nose aesthetic operations. To achieve good results in nasal aesthetic surgery, experts have a wide range of tools including bone saws, carbide blasting and power-assisted blasting. However, each one of these devices has its own limits.

Septoplasty is the surgical correction of defects and deformities of the nasal septum (the partition between the nostrils). The septum is a structure made of bone and cartilage in the central portion of the nose that separates one nasal cavity from another.

Otoplasty is the surgical treatment for protruding ears. This is one of the few cosmetic procedures that can be performed on children. There are generally two problems with protruding ears: the first is a lack of formation of the “anti-helical fold.” The second deformity is an excessively deep cup of the ear called the “conchal bowl.”
